Manifesting Abundance

“I want money, lots and lots of money. I want the pie in the sky.”1 Anybody remember that song by Calloway from 1989? It’s worth another listen.
When people learn about the Law of Attraction, one of the most popular desires they want to manifest is money…and lots of it. A lot of people find that the money doesn’t come as quickly as they’re hoping, and they can’t seem to pinpoint why. The reason is that their negative beliefs about money and their reality-based expectations of how it will come create so much resistance within that they are actually disallowing the money to come to them! If this rings true for you, you probably realize how hard it is to change the beliefs and expectations you have about money.
Thoughts may stand in your way that reflect unworthiness if a comparison is made between your own situation and those living in poverty. There is a standing belief for most that there is a limited amount of wealth and that someone must lose in order for you to gain. Some of you may have been raised in impoverished situations, or at least less than well-to-do, and the feeling of having an abundance of what you need and want may actually feel uncomfortable to you. Do your best to forget about those beliefs as you read this article. You are more than worthy. There is more than enough to go around. Comfort is easy to get used to. You’ve just got to be willing to consider other ideas long enough for them to become established. If they don’t work for you, you can always go back to your old way of thinking.
I have known Tiffany on a personal level long enough to see her manifest financial abundance repeatedly. She somehow manages to remain steady in the vibration of abundance almost unceasingly. I’m thankful to have had her influence. Since she’s known me, I’ve gone from sleeping on her couch to living in an RV to purchasing my own home for the first time in my life.
Her advice is to change your beliefs, refuse to focus on lack, use affirmations, and daydream (heavy on the daydream). “Don’t even focus on reality,” says Tiffany, “because it’s conditional. Part of getting sober was telling myself, ‘I’m going to live my best life and the Universe is going to cooperate. I don’t go to work when I’m not really feeling it. I always have enough exactly when I need it. I know that when I need it, it will be there. I don’t have any resistance. It’s going to work out, and I’m going to do it.” She holds true to her word, I promise.
One of Tiffany’s favorite ways to find the feeling of abundance is to play a game taught by Abraham Hicks (in the book Ask and It Is Given, Process #12) called “Wouldn’t It Be Nice If…”2 It’s a pretty simple process. Write that at the top of a piece of paper and write beneath it the things that make that sentence true for you. Writing by hand is encouraged because it takes longer than sitting and thinking, it’s easier to stay focused on the task, and while you’re taking that extra time to write, the feeling of abundance and excitement is building momentum within.
Daydreaming is very similar to that game; the main difference is that a daydream is meant to expand on one particular desire. Take a few minutes of deep breathing, sit in a conscious state of no thought, and let the inspiration flow through you. You will begin to feel the excitement become such that you can no longer not daydream. Ideas begin to breathe new life into you and reveal details that you may not have been ready for until that moment. Allow all this to happen; don’t try to force it into being. It’s okay if the inspiration doesn’t come in the form of a daydream. It will be revealed to you when you decide you really are ready to know the details. All you really need to focus on is what and why. Don’t overthink it; allow it to come.
It may help the daydream process if you focus on an affirmation before you begin. Use affirmations to bridge your beliefs from lack to abundance. Borrow Tiffany’s. They work well.
I am healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Money flows easily and frequently to me from all sources.
Everything is always working out. Look for evidence of these in your life. Get out in nature and build a feeling of appreciation. Look at the abundance in nature and all around you. Abundance is everywhere. Appreciating abundance in a general sense will build the momentum of the vibration of abundance within, and you will begin to see abundance in your own life, maybe even in terms of money. We can’t wait to hear your success story! References:
